HAS Hanandjoedin (TJQ) Airport Preparation in Welcoming the Development Working Group (DWG) G20 Bangka Belitung 2022

30 Jun 2022

BANDUNG - The DWG G20 is scheduled to be held in Bangka Belitung on 7-9 September 2022. HAS Hanandjoedin Airport (TJQ) is appointed as the main gateway for welcoming important guests from DWG-G20 member countries for this event.

The DWG-G20 event is vital momentum and must be used to promote tourism in the Belitung area to the participants of the DWG-G20. The G20 meeting will be attended by Ministers from various countries, including South Africa, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Argentina, Australia, and other countries representing 60% of the world's population and 80% of the world's Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Regarding the security and safety of TJQ Airport, of course, it is necessary to guarantee that the airside facilities, as one of the critical components of the airport, must always be in top condition. The airside (runway) condition is currently experiencing much damage in the form of grooves, holes, and grain release. Therefore PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) deemed it necessary to carry out Detail Engineering Design (DED) work on the TJQ Airport Overlay to produce an engineering document for the runway repair.

NSE has been trusted by PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) to carry out DED Overlay work for TJQ Airport. This is a form of support for PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) to prepare physical infrastructure in successing the DWG-G20 event in Bangka Belitung.
