BANDUNG - PT. Nur Straits Engineering (NSE) serves engineering consultants on various projects, one of them is in geothermal energy. In March 2022, NSE has been awarded by PT. Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) to perform Front End Engineering Design (FEED) of Cimanggu Field Exploration Drilling Infrastructure aims to permit and land acquisition requirement.  

The implementation of FEED design is to produce comprehensive civil design and infrastructure according to standard provisions, hence it can be developed at the EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) stage in the future.  

The scope of work of NSE is divided into four main sections, such as surveying topographic and soil investigation, planning layout and infrastructure of wellpad, preparing access road for drilling equipment mobilization, and designing drilling water supply. The design reference should base on the Civil Design Guideline Geodipa. 

NSE team expectation is the design contribute to geothermal energy development in Indonesia that produce eco-energy power plant.
