BANDUNG - To strengthen and support the acceleration of the Design Project for the airside facilities construction of Juanda Airport, PT. Angkasa Pura I held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Event with the theme “Improvement of the Airside Facilities and Investigation Plan of the Pavement at Juanda Airport, Surabaya” on Friday (19/7/2024) at the Novotel Samator Hotel, Surabaya.

Officially opened by Mr. Ir. Lukman F. Laisa as The Director of Airports -Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia and Mr. M. Suriawan Wakan, S.T., M.M as The Technical Director of PT. Angkasa Pura Indonesia, This FGD was participated by other major stakeholder such as The Operations Director of PT. Angkasa Pura I, The Technical Director of AirNav Indonesia, The Head of Region III Authority, and the Commander of Juanda Naval Air Base.

In the FGD, NSE as the design consultant for the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) of the Runway and Taxiway Reconstruction and its Supporting Facilities at Juanda Airport - Surabaya, act as Key-speaker to present the Assessment of the South Taxiway and its findings.

Following the findings from the South Taxiway assessment, Mr. Ir. Aris Wibowo, M.T. as NSE Principal Expert also presented a forensic audit plan for the Runway & North Taxiway area of Juanda Airport to the stakeholders, explaining the target outcomes of the assessment. The impacts/implications toward the airports operation which potentially occurred from conducting this forensic audit at the runway and taxiway area were also discussed and steps/mitigation that can be taken to minimize these impacts.
